At public universities EU/EEA students pay €178 a year for a licence and €255 for a master's, while non-EU students pay €2,902 and €3,950 – plus the €105 CVEC (2026/27). Campus France counts more than 3,500 higher education institutions, and since 4 May 2026 a meal in a CROUS canteen costs €1 for all students.
