No tuition for EU citizens on full-time, publicly funded programmes, while non-EU/EEA students usually pay €2,000–11,000 a year for a bachelor's and €2,000–15,000 for a master's. The European Commission puts living costs at €400–800 a month, and subsidised student meals cost €0–4.37. See how to apply through the eVŠ portal, where to look for a room and how student work is organised.
There is no central entrance exam. If a programme has more applicants than places, the selection criteria published in the call for enrolment decide – check them for your programme.
For some programmes you also have to pass a Slovenian language exam before enrolling in the first year – the call for enrolment tells you whether this applies and when any additional tests take place.
