Greek-taught bachelor's programmes at public universities are free for EU and non-EU students alike, while English-taught programmes charge fees – for non-EU students €5,000–15,000 a year for a bachelor's. All 24 Greek universities are public, and those who meet the criteria eat in student canteens for free.
