The Food Culture festival will take place during 10 days in the European capital. You are all invited to discover the finest cuisines and products from different part of Europe: Silesia (Poland), Galicia (Spain), Sicily, Piedmont, Sardinia, Trentino-Alto Adige (Italy) and of course Alsace.
Also a nice European marketplace will present you products from Romania, Hungary, Greece, Turkey, Serbia, Estonia and Belgium. Especially this year the festival will invite another continent inviting Mali.
Besides countries’ speciality a bunch of entertainments are foresees to make of your visit a great moment.
A fantastic beer garden will be set up and the 17 of July. During this evening the main Strasbourg’s place “La place Kléber” will look-like an old Gallic feast.
The festival will not only feed your belly, but your soul will be delighted with a European high mass. This even will invite everyone, according to the holy year of St James of Compostela, to celebrate the different European religion in one of the finest gothic cathedral of France: the cathedral of Strasbourg.
After the mass, the festive will be invited to savour delicious giant paella which we hope will nicely conclude this 2010 edition.
