Eindhoven Marathon is said to rank among the top ten races in the world. A popular event, it starts and finishes in the city centre in the town hall square (Stadhuisplein), and attracts around 17,000 participants and 160,000 spectators annually.
The Eindhoven Marathon route is traffic-free and runs along broad
asphalt roads. The day also features a half-marathon and separate routes
for the three- and six-kilometre city runs. All four routes are open to
everyone and up to 50 musical attractions line the route.
