New Year's Eve in Krakow
Thousands gather in Krakow's Main Square on New Year's Eve to celebrate with fireworks and live music. Large screens on the Town Hall Tower and behind the Adam Mickiewicz monument help the neck-craning crowds see all the action on stage.
A New Year tradition in Krakow since the mid-90s, acts including Kate
Ryan and Leona Lewis have played to revellers in past years. The stage
is situated on the eastern side of the Main Square, in between the
Sukiennice and St Adalbert's Church.
