Adelboden's Horäschlittä-Renä is no ordinary sled race. It revives the Alpine custom of storing hay on mountain pastures in Finneln containers, which farmers brought down to the valley on large sledges.
Two-man teams compete in hay-packed sledges at breakneck speed.
