International Violet Meeting
Toulouse, the "pink city" and world capital of violets, invites visitors from around the globe to celebrate its favourite flower at the International Violet Meeting. The highlight of the weekend is a hotly contested violet competition.
More than 100 participants (scientists, botanists, producers and more)
from all over the world converge on the city to share their wisdom. But,
for those who do not possess extremely rare variants of the plant,
there are also exhibitions, markets, food stalls and other flower-based
attractions.
