Berlin Night of Theatres and Operas
After the popular Long Night of the Museums, Berlin is now branching out with the Berlin Night of Theatres and Operas, where the capital's cultural institutions open late and offer lots of short productions to touring visitors. A kind of crash course in culture!
Around 60 of Berlin's stages show back-to-back productions of around
half an hour's duration, so that visitors can get round several major
venues in one night, from opera to ballet and theatre.
A shuttle
bus service every 10-15 minutes is laid on to ferry culture trippers
around and pack in as much as possible in one night.
