FilmFest Dresden, at venues all over the city, showcases animated and short films. Already active before German reunification, it has become one of the more popular festivals in the past few years, with its prize-winning films touring the country.
The FilmFest Dresden features productions from all over the world as well as local film producers from Saxony.
