Primo Maggio Music Festival
Rome welcomes the spring season with Primo Maggio, a gigantic music festival in Piazza San Giovanni. The line-up is only released a few days before the event, but you can expect performances by the likes of Hard-Fi and Marlene Kuntz.
As the festival was instituted in 1989, it has little to do with any
Pagan celebration, but it has quickly become an important part of the
Roman cultural calendar, as well as a major national and international
event.
