FIA World Rally Championship: Acropolis
The Acropolis Rally is a well-established round of the World Rally Championship (WRC). Despite being a tradition in Athens for over 50 years, this car race changed location in 2009 and is now held in the town of Loutraki.
Known as the Rally of Gods, the race won the award for WRC Rally of the
Year in 2005, when the Olympic Stadium's Super Special Stage wowed an
audience of around 60,000 fans.
The FIA World Rally Championship has a global television audience of more than 800 million people in almost 200 countries.
