Balaton Bike Fest
Tihany, on the shores of Hungary's largest lake, Balaton, is a hive of activity at the end of June. Not only does the final weekend feature the Ultrabalaton running marathon, but also the culmination of the annual five-day Balaton Bike Fest.
The five packed days include a Tour of Tihany, the MTB Balaton Marathon,
the Tihany Downhill, XC (Cross Country), X2S (Cross Country Triatholn)
as well as dirt track and trail biking competitions. Everything, in
fact, to keep a mountain biker happy (and exhausted).
