Rewind Festival

Shoulder pads, big hair, Cagney & Lacey - in many respects the Eighties are best forgotten, but they did produce some good music. Celebrating that sequinned decade, Henley-on-Thames' Rewind Festival features some of the biggest acts of the era.

Inaugurated in 2009, Rewind was originally intended as a one-off event but the huge crowds it drew and positive coverage it generated has seen it become an annual event.

Even from its first year the event drew famous acts such as Kim Wilde, Sister Sledge and Rick Astley, and positive feedback has seen even more stars added to its roster in the intervening period. Performing this year are the Village People, Bananarama and Kim Wilde, among many others, while funfairs, fireworks, discos and karaoke are some of the alternative entertainment options on offer should the excitement on stage prove too much.
