Tübingen Duck Race
Fed up with bathtub confinement, around 6000 bright yellow ducks bob along the tree-lined River Neckar during the Tübingen Duck Race. The ducks race from Alleenbrücke to Neckarbrücke in front of cheering crowds who take the event very seriously.
Those who fancy their chances can rent a duck (sorry, you can't keep
it). Be sure to get there by 1pm, or your duck might not make it to the
race on time. Theatre, badge making and mini bungee jumping complete the
fun.
