Mountain Film Festival
DAS KINO presents a packed programme of films, documentaries and lectures relating to alpine culture, wildlife and winter sport. Salzburg's Mountain Film Festival allows mountain-lovers to meet and view films rarely screened in cinemas.
Highlights of the festival include talks with experienced alpinists,
mountain climbers, kajakers, mountain bikers and other extreme athletes.
Geologists
and academics are also invited to share their views on topical issues
such as global warming and its effects on alpine wildlife.
