Wigan Food and Drink Festival

The Wigan Food and Drink Festival is back for 2013 and this year we are celebrating the culinary traditions and foods of Lancashire.  Look out for themed demonstrations with high profile chefs such as Lancashire’s own Nigel Haworth, tastings, restaurant offers and talks.

We are also celebrating Wigan’s own culinary heritage. Yes, that’s right, pies! TV chef and restaurateur Simon Rimmer will be hosting celebration dinner at Haigh Hall.

The food and drink festival takes places from 28^th February until 10^th March with venues across the borough getting involved.
