Museums at Night 2013
This after-hours opening has proved hugely successful at London's major museums and galleries, with first-timers often amazed at the party atmosphere – and some of the institutions occasionally overwhelmed by the popularity of the evenings.
In 2013, the Museums at Night weekend runs from Thursday to Saturday
(rather than Friday to Sunday, as it has been in the past). Previous
participants have included London Transport Museum, the National Maritme
Museum, National Portrait Gallery and the Horniman Museum. Full details
of this year's venues will be available nearer the time.
