Gdynia hosts the annual Heineken Open'er Festival at Gdynia-Kosakowo Airport, featuring around 120 top international artists during Poland's largest open-air music festival. On-site facilities include camping zones, free wifi points, catering services, a cinema, theatre stage and the Heineken 'beach'.
Open'er has become a major player on the festival scene in recent years, voted 'Best Major Festival' at the European Festival Awards in 2009 and 2010 while beating the likes of Exit and Glastonbury to the title.
